I was honored when I was approached by ACS Gallery in Chicago to have my pieces of “The sound of silence” exhibit on their Artsy page.

The exhibition was very successful and the response was amazing. I could not be more grateful to Sergio Gomez for giving me the opportunity to show my pieces in their beautiful space at 33Contemporary Gallery located at Zhou B Art Center.

All these pieces you will see on ARTSY page are 6x6 Inches, mixed media on wood with Resin. They make great gifts for anyone who appreciates art, positivity and culture. So make sure to check them out on ACS Gallery’s Artsy Page.

Each piece has a different vibe and energy but they all are part of one series, my aim was to not have much description on pieces as I wanted the viewers to connect with each piece at their own time. I wanted to give them the space to view and feel each piece. Many of viewers wanted to know more and of course then I would share each piece’s story.

The sound of silence - Solo Exhibition - May 2018

Installation for The Sound Of Silence Exhibition - Currently on view at 33 Contemporary Gallery Chicgao

We live in a busy and loud world where we are online all the time and seems to not be able to have quite time or communicate in the right way. I wanted to create an exhibition and invite the viewers to slow their day down, enjoy the pieces in silence and connect with them directly, try to figure out the story they wish to tell. My aim has always been to create pieces which are not only visually interesting (hopefully!) but also starts a dialogue. That is when we can start to find that common ground, no matter where we come from, what religion we follow or what color of skin we have. 

I was honored when Sergio Gomez asked me to exhibit at his beautiful space, 33 Contemporary Gallery located at Zhou B Art Center. My vision was to create a show where pieces speaks to viewers and also make them affordable. The show comes to life with 53 pieces, all 6x6 inches. 5 and 3 have always been my numbers throughout life and one day looking them up out of curiosity,  realized 5 symbolizes Freedom and 3 symbolizes Creativity and everything started to fall into place even more. 

Each piece has a different look and all are different from one another but they all have one thing in common, the love and energy they carry, the shapes which might seem familiar from the Persian and Islamic architectural shapes, the vibrant colors of Persian rugs, the beautiful Farsi calligraphy and Rumi poetry which is only a small part of the rich and beautiful culture of my motherland. 

I invite you to enjoy the silence of the space, if you listen, you will hear the pieces talking to you, they are telling you their story. While going through the creation process, I was reminded by below quote by Rumi:- 

"Listen to silence, it has so much to say"

It's safe for me to say 2017 was not the best year for me as I'm sure for most of you, so I wanted to start 2018 right. As you might know by now, in my pieces I try to portray the power of "Love" in our lives. I'm a firm believer in Love and I wanted to do something to be able to give back. 

So I'm happy to announce that all my pieces will be 20% off during this month up to Valentines Day - February 14th 2018 - and what's better? That 20% that will be taken off will be donated to the charity of you choice! You will get a confirmation from the charity with the amount donated under your name...

All you need to do is go to my website, Instagram and/or FaceBook Page and pick your favorite love piece that you always wanted! Then just send me an Email (mentioned below). Once we confirm details on the price, charity and all, you will have your piece with you in few days.
